This one-day course establishes the essential foundation for all future pistol training. Students will learn and apply the core principles of safe firearm handling, range etiquette, loading and unloading procedures, equipment considerations, marksmanship fundamentals, the draw stroke, and malfunction clearance. The course also addresses common shooter errors and introduces the mindset required for defensive firearm use.

While the course is structured to be accessible to new shooters, the techniques and standards taught are designed to build practical skills that remain reliable under stress and time constraints. Students will leave with a solid understanding of safe gun handling and the fundamental skills needed to continue developing as a responsible and capable shooter.

This does not meet state CCW requirements.

What do you Need:

  • A quality Semi automatic Pistol -

    • Until Further notice SIG P320 or SIG P320 Variations are not allowed

  • 5 Magazine - Fully loaded upon arrival to class

  • 1 magazine holster

  • 500 rounds of ammunition

  • Eye and Ear protection.

  • A kydex-type holster affording coverage of the trigger.

    • T Rex Side Car Holster, Tier 1 concealed Appendix Holster, LE Mil Safari land Retention Holster

    • As this is a safety issue for yourself and others. If you do not have a sufficient holster for class, you will be asked to leave. Contact The Amendment prior if this in question.

Recommend:

  • Water

  • Snacks

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray

  • A “sun shirt”

  • Clothing and equipment suitable for bad weather

  • Note Taking Material.

  • A good Battle belt setup

You may shoot reloaded ammunition at your own risk. No steal penetrating core ammo.
