The AR/M4 rifle platform is the number one chosen firearm for tactical operations, and for good reason. This one-day course introduces range safety, range etiquette, operation of the firearm, fundamentals of fire, shooting and ready positions, target acquisition, target transitions, clearing of stoppages, and safe, controlled rapid fire with an emphasis on balancing speed and accuracy.

The curriculum also covers zero theory and height-over-bore. Designed for both beginners and experienced shooters, this critical course teaches techniques that help students build essential skills they can apply under stress. All targets will be within 50 yards.

Below is a list of required equipment, and recommended equipment for the class.

Required Equipment.

  • Quality semi automatic AR platform rifle with an optic and sling installed.

    • Highly recommend having a red dot sight for the class. Recommend Hollosun HS515 GM or similar. All targets will be within 50 yards. LPVO’s acceptable. Highly Recommend NOT bringing a typical 3x9 style rifle scopes with a duplex reticle.

  • Five magazines with at least 1 magazine holster.

  • 500 Rounds of Ammunition,

  • Eye Protection- Recommended to be purchased from a local firearm or outdoor store. Appropriate for firearms training.

  • Electronic Ear Protection. This is a requirement due to the safety concern, making sure students can hear range commands and instructions. Highly recommend “Walkers” brand. Their Razors are good and can be found about anywhere, No Bluetooth is required.

  • No full auto or FRT triggers allowed in the course.

Recommended:

  • Clothing -suitable for inclement weather

  • Water and Snacks

  • Sunscreen/bugspray

  • Baseball Cap

  • Note-taking material

  • Additional Notes:

  • This will be long days, have the appropriate attitude. Students are expected to be able to stand for long periods of time.

    1. Food will not be provided for the class, roughly and hour will be set aside for lunch. Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch, snacks, and hydration etc for the duration of the course.

    2. Cancellation Policy-

      • Cancel within 60+ Days=50% refund,

      • Cancel withing 59-30 Days=25% refund.

      • Cancel within< 29 Days = No Refund

    3. There is a minimum class size, if the class size is not met one week prior to class, costs for the class will be refunded.

No reloaded- non factory ammunition allowed, and you cannot shoot any green tip or steel penetrating type ammunition in the class. Steel or aluminum-cased ammo is not allowed. Those ammunition have their place, but its not in this class.
